Welcome to Art Inspiration

We specialise in hand-painted, oil-on-canvas reproductions of paintings from the old masters. These are not prints-on-canvas or 'texturised' prints-on-canvas but hand-painted works by our artists, all of whom have expertise and experience in the complete range of styles: from traditional, renaissance, romantic and impressionist through to abstract and modern art. We can make a reproduction of any original painting of your choice, subject to copyright law*.

We can also paint an oil reproduction of any photograph* of your choice, be it a portrait or a landscape. Simply click on contact us and we will get back to you with details.

PRICES
We do not indicate the price of any of the paintings shown in the Artists A-Z or Top Sellers because prices vary according to the size of canvas required and the level of complexity/detail in the painting itself. As a guide, though, a 24" x 36" [60 x 90 cm] (a popular size for hanging above a mantelpiece) reproduction of Van Gogh's 'The Church at Auvers', last image on this page, costs £190 plus postage. Once you have decided on a painting and a size, the site guides you through to the Enquiries/Quotation form. We try to respond on the same day.

DELIVERY
Paintings take approximately 4-5 weeks to complete and are dispatched rolled up in a tube ready for stretching onto a frame. We hold a limited stock of paintings for immediate dispatch and these can be viewed on Art in Stock.

ORDERS & PAYMENTS
In order to confirm an order and for us to then commission one of our artists to commence the reproduction, we require a deposit for 50% of the quoted painting cost. The remaining balance plus p&p is only due once you have received the painting (see Terms). Payments can be made online and these are handled by the third party PayPal, which uses Secure Mode (SSL - Secure Sockets Layer) on your browser to encrypt sensitive data. Payments can also be made by just posting a cheque.

*The original artist of origin from a European Union country must have been deceased for more than 70 years, and from anywhere else in the world for
more than 50 years. For a photograph, if not an original taken by the customer, then the formal permission of the originator must be obtained.
